FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND: THE LEFT MENU BAR

Let’s start with the menu bar on the left of your screen. 

Here you will see five items:

• Account
• Dashboard
• Courses
• Calendar
• Inbox

ACCOUNT

If you click on the Account menu bar item it will allow you to access your Profile, Settings, Notifications, Files (storage) and ePortfolios.

 

DASHBOARD

If you click on the Dashboard menu bar item it will show you an overview of Wolsey Hall announcements, your courses, and recent feedback on Assignments. On the right is a button to View Grades. From here you can also access a list of the average grades across all the courses on which your child is enrolled.

The first time you log in, you may see a number of announcements at the top of the page. Simply click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the announcement to close it. You will not be able to return to the announcement once you close it!

COURSES

If you click on the Courses menu bar item it will open a list of all the Wolsey Hall courses on which you are currently enrolled. Selecting a particular course will take you to the home page for that course.

  

CALENDAR

Your Student Support Manager will have sent your individual Study Schedule with your enrolment details. We recommend that you put these dates into the Calendar using the Calendar function.

1. Click on Calendar.

2. Click on the required date box

3. Add Assignment deadlines or any other dates associated with your course by adding the item as a new Event.

Please note you will only be able to add events to your personal calendar. 

 

 

INBOX

You should use the Inbox if you wish to email your tutor.  Go the Inbox, click on the New Message icon and select the course from the drop-down list in the Course field.

In the To field, select Teachers from the drop-down and then select the name of your tutor from the list. Your SPM can be found under Teaching assistants.
