Topic Two (9.2): Multiple Choice Exam Practice
Key Points
- In the exam you will have 30 questions and 45 minutes to complete the multiple-choice paper.
- This means maximum one minute per question with time at the end for those questions you found challenging.
- As a rule, don’t waste time; if you have trouble with a question, move on and come back to it later.
- Most multiple-choice questions will have two answers that are completely wrong, one that could be mistaken for the right one and the correct answer.
- If you are struggling, eliminate the first two and ensure that you choose one of the others. As you do not have marks taken off for wrong answers, you MUST put an answer against each question.
- Complete the first practice paper in 1 hour. Thereafter try to reduce the time to 45 minutes.
- You may not have access to your textbooks or notes during the test.
