  • Review pages 1 to 23 in the textbook, and the notes you have made for this module.
  • Looking back over the previous topics, make sure you can answer the following questions:
    1. What are the key features of structural theories?
    2. How do interaction theories differ from structural theories?
    3. Why do postmodernists argue that we live in a new postmodern society and so the old theories are no longer relevant?
    4. How can you relate these theories to your own life and the society in which you live? Try to think of contemporary examples that can reflect the views of each theory.
