MainActivity.png Main Activity

Watch Video 9A.

Blue + Yellow = Green

Red + Blue = Purple

Red + Yellow = Orange

You are going to practise creating tones of a colour using two primary colours to create a secondary colour.

For example:

Blue + Yellow = Green

When you add more yellow the green becomes lighter and more vibrant.

When you add more blue, the green becomes darker.

You do not need to add black or white to make the colours lighter or darker.

Add these colours to your colour wheel from Week Seven in the white segments that you left. For example, green should go between blue and yellow, and purple between red and blue.

Next watch Video 9B.

Take out your collected items and materials from last week. Lay out all of your collected pieces and try to make a pattern or picture from them.

Fill in all the spaces with your own colour using paint, colouring pencils or pens.

You can add lettering or images from your imagination.

You should aim to complete:

  • your colour wheel from Week Seven
  • two pages of collage in your larger sketch pad.

You can work on a separate piece of card or paper to create a final piece of work if you would like.
