You will examine the specific form and structure of key text types in much more detail as the course progresses, but in this topic, you will consider the basic concepts of ‘form’ and ‘structure’ and the differences between them. You will examine different types of text and learn about some key elements to discuss when writing about form and structure.
Read and Make Notes
Read pages 8 to 13 in the textbook and make notes.

- Read carefully through the Student Response on page 12.
- Pay attention to the ‘Reflection’ activities on pages 11 and 12.
