Growth mindset is the belief that success depends on time and effort.

Ways you can support your child to have a growth mindset:

Celebrate their mistakes. Explain that mistakes are marvellous! Noticing and correcting mistakes helps our brains to grow.

End a sentence with "Yet". If your child says, "I can’t spell that.” Reply with “Yet,” in order develop self belief.
