Topic One (1.1): What is Chronology?
Introduction
- When you study history, you learn all about different events, time periods and people, and it is important to understand how they fit together over time. So that is why we are starting this course by learning about chronology, which is the historian’s ‘map’ of when things happened. Remember to read the content properly before attempting any activities.
Working through your coursebook
- Complete the ‘Over to You’ section on page 9.
- Make sure you are familiar with the terms AD, CE, BC and BCE.
