LOWER SECONDARY HISTORY YEAR 8 SAMPLE
This Sample shows One module from the full course and is designed to give you a flavour of the Wolsey Hall approach to home study.
Early modern history is one of the most exciting parts of the ‘olden’ days and covers events from the Plague and Great Fire of London all the way to Industrial Revolution. If you ever thought a place you’ve been was smelly, it was hundreds of times worse in the early modern and industrial period!
You will work your way through seven modules that follow the English National Curriculum, using a key textbook, Revolution, Industry and Empire, as well as a range of optional activities to support you if you need it or to stretch you if you are ready for an extra challenge. You will also have the opportunity to complete online tests and use websites such as the Historical Association
