This Sample shows One module from the full course and is designed to give you a flavour of the Wolsey Hall approach to home study.

Did you know that the Battle of the Bulge was actually the last German offensive before the end of World War 2? The period of the 20th century throws up some very interesting facts that you will get to learn about! As well as World War 2, you will get to learn about all the major wars of the period, some of which resulted in movements for independence. You will also get to demonstrate your own independence as you will get to choose and research a choice of topics!

You will work your way through seven modules that follow the English National Curriculum, using one textbook, Technology, War and Independence, as well as a range of optional activities to support you if you need it or to stretch you if you are ready for an extra challenge. You will also have the opportunity to complete online tests and use websites such as the Historical Association to help you learn.
