Topic Six (1.6): Go further and Challenge Yourself
Objectives for this topic
By the end of this topic, you should be able to:
- describe some of the smart technology used in Stockholm;
- describe GPS and how it links to smart maps.
You might also be able to:
- describe an IoT device of your own design.
Introduction
IoT generally conjures up ideas of small things, little chips embedded in our fridge or on our wrists. However, these little chips can add up to big things! In this topic, you will look at how these little chips have turned Stockholm (a city of over two million people) into one of the smartest cities in the world. You will then have the opportunity to explore your own imagination and design the IoT device of the future.
