Module One
In Module One you will learn how to talk about your holidays: where you have been, what you like to take with you and even what your dream destination would be! You will travel the world, hearing others talk about their holidays, and discovering some of the joyful festivals that take place in Francophone countries. You will learn new verbs like 'finir' and 'choisir', and you will start to use the past perfect tense (I have visited, I have been to...), the near future (I am going to take...) and the conditional (I would like to visit...). At the end of the module there will be the opportunity to revise and practise all the new vocabulary and grammar you have encountered.
Before you complete Assignment 1 and 1S, there are 5 topics to complete. You will be directed to Unit 7 in Allez 1, and you will need to complete a variety of activities there, including listening to audio tracks and video clips.
If you feel that you need more support or are ready for an extra challenge, we direct you to optional resources, which are available in Canvas or on Kerboodle or LanguageNut.
You should complete the assignments at the end of the module.
