This Sample shows One module from the full course and is designed to give you a flavour of the Wolsey Hall approach to home study.
This course is filled with fun and engaging activities, quizzes and videos that will help you develop your French language skills and learn more about France and Francophone culture!
You will learn how to talk about your holidays (and imagine your dream trip!), how to discuss sport and the active life, and how to describe your daily routines, setting these against the very different way in which people live in French-speaking countries around the world. You will discover some distinctive features and personalities in French culture and history - not sure who Alexandre Dumas might be? That's something you will be able to answer by the end of the course! You will begin to consider the language of advertising and finally you will be ready to debate the advantages and disadvantages of technology.
All the time you will be building vocabulary and developing your grasp of French grammar to enable you to understand more complex texts in French and communicate more fully and confidently yourself.
