Introduction
In this module, you will learn about health problems and possible treatments.
Working through your coursebook
Please work through the following sections in your coursebook, completing all listed exercises:
- Page 18 Exercise 1: The monkey Manolo has got some health problems! Rearrange the letters in bold to make proper words. Can you work out the meaning of each of the phrases? (a-h)
- Page 18 Exercise 2: Read the symptoms from which these young people are suffering and match them with the health problems in the coloured boxes.
- Read the ¡Atención! box and learn other ways to say you are not feeling well.
- Page 19 Exercise 3: Match the remedies (1-5) with the pictures (a-e).
- Page 19 Exercise 4: Listen to Audio Track 12 and fill in the grid in English with as much detail as possible.
- Page 19 Exercise 5: Look back at Exercise 2 on page 18 and recommend a medicine or a remedy for each person.
Review
Read Estrategia on page 19 for tips for performing a role play and then practise out loud the dialogues in Exercise 6 on page 19.
