If the answer is 'yes', then the time has come to arrange your Welcome call with your tutor! When you were enrolled onto the course, your tutor will have sent you an email via Canvas messaging to welcome you to the course. We very much encourage you to go ahead and book a convenient time, through Canvas messaging, to speak with your tutor .

The Welcome call is an opportunity for you to meet your tutor and to start a relationship that we hope will allow you to thrive and will bring you success. You are not quizzed or tested on your subject knowledge in any way. You are free to ask any questions you may have or share any worries that you may have before you get started.

If you would prefer not to have a video Welcome call, you are very welcome to have an audio-only call or a video call in which you sit out of sight of the tutor. This is no problem at all. Please feel free to do whatever works for you.

A lot of our tutors say that finding out about their students is one of the things they love most about being a Wolsey Hall tutor, so please do go ahead and make the most of your Welcome call.

Please note:

If you are 13 or under, then your parent/guardian must be present during the Welcome call.
For children who are 14 and over, we strongly recommend that a parent/guardian is present during the Welcome call.
