Topic One (1.1): Integers and decimals
Introduction
Integers are whole numbers. They can either be positive or negative. In this topic you will be shown how to add and subtract negative numbers. You will also be shown decimal numbers and asked to order them.
Helpful hints
When combining positive and negative integers, please remember the following:
- Adding a negative integer is the same as subtracting a positive integer.
- Subtracting a negative integer is the same as adding a positive integer.
