Topic One (1.1): Powers
Introduction
In this topic you will revise multiplying by powers of 10. You will be introduced to two rules of indices. These are really important, and help you to calculate easily with powers of 10.
Working through your course book
- Read through the information and examples on page 4. Make sure that you understand the two indices rules. They apply when the same base is being multiplied or divided, and tell you how to combine the indices.
