  • Writing longer answers (a paragraph and more) can be the most difficult. Make sure you pay close attention to the help boxes on page 19 as working step-by-step in an ordered way is the best way to achieve high marks.

    • Activity 1 - How are we connected to our planet? Complete the spider diagram and think about our physical, human, and environmental connections. Do include relevant geographical terminology wherever possible.
    • Activity 4 - Use these new command words from this topic to create questions about the place where you live. You could use photos, maps or other information to give yourself inspiration for the questions.
    • Activity 5 - Come up with as many words as you can relating to the topic ‘Geography and you!’ using the letters provided.
  • geog.1, pages 16-17 – read through these pages and complete all the ‘Your turn’ activities.
