In this topic, you will research the possible solutions to the water crisis.
Working through your coursebook
- Think back to all the ways you and your family use water.
Write down three things you could do to reduce the water you use.
- Watch the videos below explaining how people can be given clean water and answer the questions.

- State three ways of providing clean drinking water.
- How do the perspectives on water consumption differ between the people who live in Singapore and those who live in other developed countries?
- What do you think are the barriers to providing these methods?
- Research two other methods that can be used to provide clean drinking water.
Don’t forget to reference your sources.
- Read through the information on pages 118-119 and complete activity 1. On these pages you will learn how to cite sources. You could ask a parent or another adult to discuss these questions with you or it will be possible to do them on your own. Note down your ideas in your note book.
- Complete activity 116 on page 133.
