INTRODUCTION:
As a young artist it is important that you learn new skills and techniques and experiment with different materials. It is also very important that you learn to use your imagination and research and develop individual ideas. An artist or designer will spend lots of time looking at the world around them. They often follow themes, such as animals, water or cities, for example. They often use a camera and the internet to look for ideas. They bring this all together into a ‘Mood Board’. They can refer to this as they are creating their art pieces.
