Module One

Welcome to the first module of your Year 9 Global Perspectives course!

Module One is all about diseases in humans. You will practise all the skills you developed in Years 7 and 8 to research examples of infectious diseases and their modes of transmission. You will then consider the recent pandemic of Covid-19 and the different perspectives of the restrictions that were put in place to stop the spread of the disease.

You should work through the topic, completing the activities and watching any videos. Remember to check your answers.

When you have completed the topic work, there is an assignment for you to complete.
