Module One
MON QUOTIDIEN
Reading
For this module you will need to read pages 5-18 in your coursebook, and work through pages 8-16 of your workbook.
In this module, you will learn how to talk about your everyday life.
Look at the introductory pale yellow box on the left hand side of the page to see what you are going to learn about – in this case daily activities and timetables, household chores (or ‘tasks’) and ‘petits boulots’, means of transport and school.
Note that in English we probably wouldn’t translate ‘un petit boulot’ literally as ‘a little job’. We don’t really have an exact equivalent, but ‘a Saturday job’ would probably be the closest, though you don’t have to do this kind of job on a Saturday. It really means the kind of job that a schoolchild or student might do in their spare time.
