The First World War, also known as the Great War, was a truly global war in history. Lasting for four years, from 1914 to 1918, it claimed around nine million lives and its effects are still felt in the 21st century. In this topic, you will learn how and why the Great War began. Remember to read the content properly before attempting any activities.
