In this topic you will be exploring the more complex elements using your chosen instrument/s.
Instructions
- Investigate rhythm, melody, harmony and tone using your chosen instrument/s, for example, playing the same notes in a variety of rhythms, playing a range of tonal triads, creating harmonies and practising specific melodies.
Review
Please ask your instrumental teacher to listen to you playing a specific rhythm, melody and harmony. Did you play accurately? Could you harmonise with your teacher? Could you identify the melody pattern? Use the ‘Explore’ questions in the Year 7 Musical Elements Workbook to help structure your studies.
