Topic One (1.1): Define and revise the basic elements of music

In this topic you will revise the basic elements of music. Do you remember what an element is in music? These are the building blocks that all music is made from. Be aware that a particular element can be referred to by different labels but is still the same building block. For example, ‘duration’ can also be called ‘note length’ or ‘note duration’. All these names are referring to the same idea that sound and music is based on individual sounds of different lengths.
