Introduction
In this topic, you will compare the features of two different drama texts and create your own piece of drama.
Session One (1.4.1): Key Features of Drama
- Do you have a favourite drama TV programme or film? Or have you seen a play? What do you think are the features of a good quality drama? You could watch a clip or an episode to help you with this.
- Read and complete all of the activities on page 30.
Session Two (1.4.2): Writing a Script
- Read and complete all of the activities on pages 31-33.

Session Three (1.4.3): Creating Your Own Drama
- Read and complete all of the activities on pages 34-35.

- You could record your drama script, use different voices for the different characters, or ask someone to help you by reading a different character.
Extension Activity
Imagine that you are now adapting your podcast for the stage. Design the set and the costumes for the characters by drawing pictures or creating a collage.
