Adjectives give more information about a noun or pronoun and can be placed in different positions in a sentence. However, most adjectives are used in front of a noun or after a link verb, such as be, feel or look.
For more detailed information about how to use adjectives in English, work through the information on the following page:

Remember that we can also change a word by adding a prefix or suffix – this can cause a word to have a similar meaning or a totally different one. There is a very useful section on prefixes (a group of letters that is added to the beginning of a word) and suffixes (a group of letters that is added to the end of a word) in the Spelling Rules guide in Important Course Resources under the Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Guide section of the course. We would advise that you look through these documents here carefully as they are full of valuable information that will help you with your English language development.
