Module One Introduction
Module One is all about whether information is trustworthy and what is reality.
For the assignment, you will write a persuasive article.
The key skills you need to demonstrate (for writing) are:
- Communication of ideas (W1): generate and communicate ideas effectively using different forms. Write engagingly for different purposes and audiences.
- Structure and organisation (W2): plan, draft and organise writing effectively. Use clear sentences and paragraphs to sequence and develop ideas coherently.
- Crafting of language (W3): create texts using varied style, tone and register. Use vocabulary accurately and appropriately. Use both narrative and rhetorical methods (techniques) to create complex texts.
- Technical accuracy (W4): use a range of sentence forms and punctuation to create impact. Spell complex words accurately and follow grammatical conventions.
You should work through each topic, reading the texts, completing the activities and watching any videos.
