  • Read and complete all of the activities on pages 24-26. You can listen to the extract here:

  • For Activity 1, try to think of examples of texts you would encounter from the groups of people. For example, a political speech (politician), an Instagram post (social media influencer) or a letter home to parents (teachers). What type of devices would each group use?

  • Read and complete all of the activities on pages 27-28.   
  • It’s always important to plan your work, as this will help you to structure your ideas. Use the plan on page 28 as an example. You can refer to the various articles in the module (and your own notes) to help you gather information for your plan.
