Topic Eight (1.8): Module One Review
Introduction
In this lesson, we will review the topics studied in Module One, to help prepare you for the quiz and assignment.
Keywords
Start to create a glossary for the mathematical words we have been using.
Copy out each of the keywords from the yellow boxes on pages 18 and 51, and write by the side what each means.
For example:
Addition – finding the total of two amounts, e.g. 1 + 2 = 3.
Use the glossary at the back of your textbook (pages 370-378) to check your definitions.
Review Exercise
You will find a mixture of questions on topics in Chapter 1 on pages 19-20, and on topics in Chapter 3 on pages 52-53. See if you can answer all the Band 2 questions. As usual, use Band 1 for support or Band 3 for a challenge if you wish.
