Topic Six (1.6): Module One Review
Introduction
In this lesson, we will review the topics studied during Module 1, to help prepare you for the quiz and assignment.
Keywords
Start to create a glossary for the mathematical words we have been using.
Copy out each of the keywords from the yellow boxes on pages 15 and 107, and write by the side what each means.
For example:
Addition – finding the total of two amounts, e.g. 1+ 2 = 3.
Use the glossary at the back of your textbook (pages 300-306) to check your definitions.
Review Exercises
You will find a mixture of questions on topics in Chapter 1 on pages 16-20, and on topics in Chapter 6 on pages 108-109. See if you can answer all the Band 2 questions. As usual, use Band 1 for support or Band 3 for a challenge if you wish.
