LOWER SECONDARY MUSIC APPRECIATION PART 1
This Sample shows One module from the full course and is designed to give you a flavour of the Wolsey Hall approach to home study.
Welcome to Part 1 of your Wolsey Hall Music Appreciation Course! This course has been designed to teach you how to identify different instruments, rhythms, as well as learn about music of different cultures and films (samba and salsa, for example). You will learn very basic music literacy, enough to help you describe the creative processes involved in music composition. This course has been written for students who would like to understand music on a deeper level, without the need to learn music theory, perform or compose.
You will work your way through four modules which contain elements of the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum. This course is bespoke to Wolsey Hall in that it has been written specifically for students who want to learn how to appreciate music instead of performing or composing.
