What Does This Course Cover?
The course is divided into eleven modules which cover one section of the syllabus at a time. These modules are:
- Module One: Reading Skills (Comprehension)
- Module Two: Using Reading Skills (1)
- Module Three: Using Reading Skills (2)
- Module Four: Summary Writing - Introduction
- Module Five: Summary Writing
- Module Six: Reading Skills – Introduction to Analysis
- Module Seven: Reading Skills – Analysis
- Module Eight: Composition Skills (Directed Writing)
- Module Nine: Descriptive Writing
- Module Ten: Narrative Writing
- Module Eleven: Exam Preparation
Each module is subdivided into topics so that you can study the course in manageable chunks; this will help you to get the most out of your coursebook. Each topic begins with an introduction which sets out the learning objective of that topic and how it applies to the syllabus and final exam. Within each topic you will also find the following sections:
