Topic Three (1.3): Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar- Key Technical Skills
The final topic in Module 1 looks at the key skills of spelling, punctuation and grammar. It has a particular focus on the different types of sentence that you will need to be able to use at IGCSE level, and on punctuation. There are separate marks throughout the IGCSE mark scheme for spelling, punctuation and grammar, so you need to make sure that they are as correct and accurate as possible when you write your answers in the exam. If they are not, you will find yourself losing marks unnecessarily, so the sooner you work on them, the better. Please make sure that you use a dictionary (in book form) to check all spellings, and to ensure that you are using the right word for the meaning and context.
