What Does This Course Cover?

The course is divided into thirteen modules which cover one section of the syllabus at a time, plus a final module which covers exam preparation. These IGCSE Latin modules will help you to get the most out of your eBooks and literature text. The language modules are:

  • Module One: Introducing Caecilius and his Family
  • Module Two: Entertainment and Politics in Pompeii
  • Module Three: Roman Britain and Alexandria
  • Module Four: Salvius and Cogidubnus
  • Module Five: Modestus and Strytho, and Belimicus Gets his Just Desserts
  • Module Six: Rome
  • Module Seven: The Dangers of Life in Rome
  • Module Eight: The Emperor Domitian
  • Module Nine: Roman Life and Death
  • Modules Ten to Thirteen: Coming Soon
  • Module Fourteen: Exam Preparation

Each module is subdivided into topics so that you can study the course in manageable chunks. Each topic begins with an Introduction which sets out the learning objective of the topic and how it applies to the syllabus and final exam. You are then given opportunities to do the following:

At the end of each module, you should complete the end of module quiz to test your understanding of material covered in the module. This is a multiple-choice activity that can be completed as many times as you wish to ensure that you have achieved all the learning goals for the module.
