This Sample shows One module from the full course and is designed to give you a flavour of the Wolsey Hall approach to home study.

Welcome to Year 9 French!

This is the French course that gets you talking about what it’s like to be a teenager! What kind of a relationship do you have with your parents?! How has teenage life changed over time? You will then explore a whole range of topics, from healthy eating and social life, to travel, home and your dream job - with chance to reflect on what success or failure might look like for you.

You will continue to engage in a variety of activities, practising your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. Your grammar will progress steadily, as you consolidate and develop your ability to use different tenses and a wider range of structures. Towards the end of the course you will find you are able to handle some really quite sophisticated texts in French – and produce some of your own too!

To help you practise your speaking and listening skills, we subscribe to LanguageNut Links to an external site.*. You will also have the opportunity to view the coursebook and other resources on Kerboodle Links to an external site.*
