Topic Seven (1.7): What’s the link between rock and landscape?

By the end of this topic you should be able to:

explain the terms: landscape, granite, impermeable, limestone, mudstone, pavement, pothole, cave, sinkhole, tor;
understand that different types of rocks lead to different landscapes;
give at least two landscape characteristics for each of these rock types: granite, limestone, mudstone;
match OS map extracts to the correct rock type.
