Welcome to this sample Wolsey Hall Year 6 Skills for Life course.

SELECTING THE RIGHT COURSE FOR YOUR CHILD

We recommend that families who live outside of the UK consider the equivalent grade in their local school setting. We have created the following table to support this:

During the enquiry process you will speak with a member of our admissions team. They will be able to advise you about year group selection depending on your individual circumstances.

We've designed the course so that it's a three way partnership between you, your child and the Wolsey Hall team. We will do all we can to ensure your child gets the best possible start to their education but we will need you to play your part in the process also.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The full Year 6 Skills for Life course contains three Parts each of twelve weeks, so 36 weeks of lesson plans in total.

You can see an overview of the learning covered in each Part here:

Each week contains two lesson plans covering the learning material for that week. How you work through these lessons is up to you and your child: you may wish to split the lesson into smaller sections for example. Every child is different so we've designed the course to be flexible and geared to the individual needs of your child.

ASSESSMENT

Every six weeks there will be an assignment for your child to complete and send to the Wolsey Hall tutor.
