Session One (1.1.1): Characteristics of Living Things
Introduction
This first session of this topic focuses on the seven characteristics of all living organisms. You will need to be able to identify these characteristics and define them. They are nutrition, excretion, respiration, sensitivity, reproduction, growth and movement. Refer to the syllabus for the definitions of these characteristics.
Reading
Read through and make notes on pages 2-3 of your coursebook.
Note that key words are regularly included in the coursebook pages, in an orange section.
