Session Two (1.1.2): Cell Structure
Introduction
The most important part of this topic is learning the structures and functions of plant and animal cells, including: nucleus, cytoplasm, cell wall, chloroplasts and vacuoles. You need to be able to identify these in both animal and plant cells. Pay close attention to the fact that plant cells have structures that are not found in animal cells (cell wall, chloroplasts and vacuole).

Read through and make notes on pages 3-8 of your coursebook. Review the activity on page 4.
