Your Coursebook and Resources
Wolsey Hall offers a unique model of offline and online resources to our homeschooling students – a model which we have developed based on our many years’ experience of providing home schooling courses to students.
Coursebook
Each subject specialist team carefully selects the best coursebook from which you will study. The course book for your Additional Maths course is:
- Cambridge IGCSE and O Level Additional Maths with Digital Version (CUP, 2023) by Sue Pemberton; ISBN: 9781009341837
Please note that your physical coursebook contains a code to access a digital version for a period of two years. Answers to coursebook exercises can be found in the digital version and in General Resources on Canvas.
Throughout the course, we recommend that you try all the questions in the coursebook – the Programme of Study will highlight which pages you should read for each Module.
Resources
You will find extra resources on Canvas which will support your learning. These include links to the popular websites MyMaths and HegartyMaths.
Please see General Resources for login details to subscription sites.
You will need to purchase a scientific calculator with scientific functions for both papers. Since there are many models available, to make it easier for you we recommend the following models: Casio FX-83 GT PLUS; Casio FX-85 GT PLUS; Aurora AX-595TV; Sharp ELW531.
You should not need to spend more than £20 on your calculator.
